There are good openings there, but u need to try a little bit. But, never try with fake experiences.

You first try to get a job atleast in an unreputed concern for a meagre salary and within six months or an year you can start jumping.

As long as there's software, there'll be a need to test software. This is called QA (Quality Assurance). It doesn't pay as well as programming, for instance, but then again, it doesn't require the same skill. What it does require is a certain personality, and attention to detail. If you like to sit there and try something out 4000 different ways trying to find a bug, you've got the personality for it. I don't mean that as a joke - some people are cut out for it, others aren't. Personally, I'm not, but then again, a number of QA people don't want to do what I do. If you're into the chase, spending forever trying every last thing to nail down how a bug occurs, go for it. It's a rare talent. Either you like it or you don't. But yes, there are jobs for it. Pay can be anywhere from $30k to $80k in general.

It will be hard since you have little experience. What you need to do is apply the experience you do have, and use it to differentiate yourself from the crowd. There's people with experience who can't find work, and yet the industry keeps saying we need more programmers. Software testing is essentially a QA job. You need to learn programming. See my blog about finding work in IT.

That's a little about the market and how to differentiate yourself.

That's about how to become a better programmer, but it applies to just about any skill you want to learn,

Good luck!

Did the other students in software testing get good jobs. If you tell the companies what you can do for them, you stand a better chance. If you keep chanting your testing diploma, the employers may not like that. BTW i would not have given the name of my employer in such cases. It is a risk to your employment.
