Visit the regional passport office, meet the PRO mention your receipt number & he will tell you the present status of your passport, although you can check your present status regarding this passport online as well on telephone but best is to visit personally as sometime information’s available online & on telephone are not updated. With the latest amendment to the passport rules you should have received your passport within 15days but there may be delay on part of postal department or maybe it was posted to you but due to your non availability it may have returned back to the RPO as undelivered. You can even collect it in person from the RPO.

NO problem, first check your status in the internet, if your Police report is pending, you have to report to local police station and check the status there.
If the police report is completed, you can register a complaint coating your file ref. no details (using the same website) and that works, u may get it in 2 weeks of complaint.

Ask at the office where you sent it and also on line at the passport office contact point. They should be able to track activity.

Go complain to the people that said they were going to get it for you. And find out why it is taking so long. Could be you simply aren't going to get one period. If so, they should at least tell you why.
