At my school, just about every entertainment website is blocked. it really sucks. sometimes we cant even get on sites to do our work. does anyone know a way to get past these? someone found a way once by going to www.mpfp.info, but less than a week later it was blocked. please help!

i am also a student in middle school. i use a proxy site to unblock the firewall.

Ironically it is my job to block the very thing you are trying to do. I hope that you are notone of the students at my school. haha. Anyway, two ways:
1. The right way - Contact the IT department and request acccess explaining the educational value.
2. The wrong way - by typing this very question you have in google, you will find a large amount of sites that offer "tunnels" to by-pass the firewall.

What it essentially does, is puts you on their server (and their sire is not blocked) and then you search using there website as the host. It will work, but be warned, once this is noticed, that site too will be blocked. Try option one and emphesize the educational value. Good luck!

That is why they are blocked so you can't be going to entertainment site you are suppose to be on pc to do school work looks like the school is winning the war over the internet i applaud the school keep up the good work administrator have a nice night.

Unless your a hacker nope....well kind of. You can buy a subscription to a proxy website and just go to that site. You surf through the proxy and the school never sees what URL your at, hence them not being able to block it. A good administrator though will realize what is going on and will block that proxy.
