Women want a man that will not think the grass is greener else where. Loyalty is good. The truth, it may hurt for a short time but it will be worth it in the end. We need men who can speak when spoken to and they also have to take on the responsibilty of half the marriage at least without putting blame on someone else for their shortcomings. When you marry it should be for life, not just until something better comes along. So when you decide to say I do make sure you know you are doing it for life. They should make it harder to get married than to get a divorce. I've always found that once a cheat, always a cheat. But we never really know someone until we have to live with them.

Love, understanding, compassion, not-controlling, angry, vindictive. They want someone that is wise in there finances and is a good provider for their children, because the woman still makes less than men usually. They want someone that can share common interests and do the same things with. Someone that is honest and trustworthy. Someone to stand with them as an equal and not be commanding or controlling. Someone with a strong will with out being overbearing. Someone that is not weak or subservient, but can be there for them when the have had a hard day at work. Someone that thinks before they speak and is not self-absorbed or arrogant. We want a well-rounded partner. That is lovable and capable of showing love-compassion (not sex). That is an after thought for a cure for insomnia. Well I am sure there is more, but that is all I got for right now. I hope it helps you.

A partner to be there. Some respect, love affection, trust, good listening skills, someone to make us laugh and be silly with, a partner in crime, security, and a dishwasher in the kitchen. That's not asking too much. And I mean and actual dishwsaher, not the guy to wash the dishes. If I don't have to have dishpan hands, he doesn't either.

romance, dates to restaurants and movies, weekends on mini-vacations, lots of sweet kisses, not too wet ones, comments on how pretty she is, words on why you chose her, faithfulness, fun, cuddling without being 'mauled', lots of shopping for anything she wants, children, help with the child-rearing, a man that helps out at home 50/50.
