Yeah and nah... You could always expect that something unexpected is going to happen, as in it does every single day of your life. Spill a drink, trip going down the stairs and sprain your ankle, 3 shots of whiskey making the room spin as opposed to the normal 12, cats sleeping with dogs.... but when a 6 year old walks up behind you and sets your hair on fire there is no way you could have expected it, no matter how unexpected it was... right?

you don't know for sure what exactly you are expecting, therefore, the unexpected is still unexpected, but some things that once were unexpected are expected...just not the unexpected things that you thought you were expecting
