Yeah, love of money is what makes people kill and connive. Money can be in the form of other things that reward people. Praise, sex, food, titles, acclaim, fame, etc.
There will always be evil as long as we are not glorified in heaven.

Money in itself poses no threat to anyone- it's the system of trade most nations are built on. It's what some people are willing to do in order to get money that is evil.
