It seems I'm in trouble. I was working on a plant experiment where I soak seeds in different liquids and plant them. After two weeks, it turned out that all the seeds stopped growing. All of a sudden, one of the plants grew into a healthy plant on the third week. Do I finish the experiment with that one plant or should I just conclude that the liquids killed my plants?
I want to redo the project but I have less than a week to regrow them so i don't have the time. I need advice please!

Press on with what you have. You might want to note in your conclusions that further experimentation with a lager sample size is in order but you didn't have sufficient time to start over. In the end the point of these projects usually isn't so much about the results you discover but more about your learing proper scientific methodology. Noting the shortcomings of your first attemps shows you actually learned something from it.

Keep going with the one that you have. Record all of the information that you do have and talk with your teacher. I'm sure this wouldn't be the first time this has happened. The best thing to do is to just keep on going and record everything that you do and what you see. Then, go back and try to draw some conclusions as to what happened with the other plants. Good luck!

The person that put in his info. right before me did an excellent observation--if you make a comment on what you could have done differently to make the experiment better, this will reflect very well on you.

keep going the best you can, but state what happened and what the possible causes are. Its just part of the experiment, desired results or not.

you should finish your experiment and please include even the dead plants. that will prove to your teacher that you tried your best and did it. it goes for a passing grade for your effort.
