As somebody who went through your years, I'd lock up any parent that would let a under 25 male drive ethier. Your insurance man would agree. Hi performance cars with low perfomance driver is a recipe for trouble. I had fellow employees at My Rental car place rake up 30 cars in 4 months. None were even close to Mustang power...... Long term the Supra is worth more. 97-00 Supras are ultra rare used, turbos more so. If you have the Fast & Furious bug I'd go that way. The 'stang Has equal power out the box but not the handling or however its parts are easier to get. There is a whole Mustang aftermarket that makes everything for it right down to the carpet. As for racing.... the track is the best place, but Yeah I've done it. Just be careful.......

O MAN! The mustang is the best choice. And if you got the extra dollar I would get a 2003, 0r 2004 mustang cobra. Driving this mean 390 horse power machine, You will never be the same. The mach 460 sound system makes it even beter. Rolling down your window in the summer and hearing the sound of those horses, O MAN I never heard i better sound in my life. This car was a totall dream come true for me! Every time I drove it, felt like I was in a totally different world. Words cannot describe the feeling you get owning a mustang Cobra. You dont see that many cobras on the road either. The Gt should do just as Well! GOOD LUCK

Oh my God, dude. They don't make Supras anymore. You will regret it for life if you take the 'Stang. No offense to the Mustang, but you can always buy one. Supras don't show up everyday, and they are faster than the Mustang, with much more potential.

With the Mustang GT you have the benefit of Ford racing parts. You also have the Shelby parts.
Good luck with your choice.
