It costs $500 for a non-surgical abortion, you generally have to pay for it up front. Why is it a terrible thing, is it because that is what you have been told? I had a non-surgical abortion last fall, it was necessary so I did it. I've never regretted any decision I've made, while I've regretted the things I didn't do. You are pregnant now so you can't go back and change it, but you can change what happens now.
As long as it is in the first weeks, it is still a ball of cells, a blastula. It is quick and easy. I know I have no regrets.
So I get a thumbs down for that? You should be ashamed. You want women to go back to the dark ages when women were getting abortions done in basements and dying from massive hemorrhaging and infections due to unsterilized equipment? That is, prior to Roe Vs. Wade in 1974? I don't think that will happen. Good luck.

I think that the cost really depends on where you live. Call Planned Parenthood. Don't listen to Loise L- he's full of s***! They might do what he was talking about in the second tri-mester but it is NOT like that in the first one.In the first tri-mester abortions are a lot easier than in the the second one. A lot of the time, when women have an abortion they do it before there is even a heart beat.It is your body and your life, so it is YOUR decision. Don't let anyone make you feel bad for it.

You'd have to call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask if they cover abortions. Policies differ. Some will expect you to get pre-approval. You may have a co-pay, which would have to be paid upfront. The cost will vary, depending on what type of abortion you have done and where you have it performed.
Why not go into Planned Parenthood and get some answers? Or ask your gyn, who has surely answered those questions many, many times.
Good luck!

It varies. I paid $325. It depends on your trimester and location. Plan on $500 just in case, and any money left over can be used to treat yourself. Some insurance companies cover the procedure, but not many. Call them up and they will tell you.
While abortion is not a preferred thing to do, it is your right. Embrace your reproductive freedom! Women do not belong pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen. There is nothing terrible about caring for yourself and your future.

When i was afraid i was pregnant I had questions about abortion too. A lot of people said that i was a horrilbe person and that i was going to murder someone. but I understand what you're going through. They run from about $200 to $300 dollars if you are less than a few weeks pregnant. If you have been pregnant for much longer, then surgical procedures go up to $750. I hope everything goes okay for you. I know that some insurance agencies will pay partially for abortions. GOOD LUCK! P.S. you're not a bad person!

Hun, you have to make the choice right for you. 3 yrs ago I had to make the same choice after a rape.
Normally, your welfare office, or dept of health and services will provide you with a medical coupon if you can take in a proof of pregnancy (which you can easily get).
That coupon will cover the termination.

BIoody baby murderers need aborted too. I don't believe there is no other choice. Your choice is self interest. If you want to murder your baby feel free. You have to live with it. I am an atheist but I am against it. There is no excuse for such barbarism. You should have been more considerate and planned your promiscuity. Babies are more valueable than getting laid.
You could have used a birth control patch, pills, implants, tubes tied, rubbers, foams, i.u.d.s, some newer devices, etc. No excuse but laziness and a homicidal carelessness for an abortion. I believe in abortion in a rape incident but that is your choice as with anything else. You have to live with it. The baby has to die in an abortion while you live in the comfort of going on to the next casual sex encounter and following murder. Murder will insure your selfish interests and promiscuity.
They have films of the babies trying to get away from the abortionist's rotary blades that chop them up alive. The photos of chopped up babies should be enough to make you see it is murder whether you are a religious person or an atheist.

Sweetie, you may not like my answer. No matter what happened, how, or why, Christ loves you and the baby. Maybe consider putting it up for adoption for a family who is able to care for it if you can't. Just imagine if your mom decided she didn't want you and aborted you.
I am sorry that is graphic, but I can't even imagine what that would mean... please go to a Pregnancy Resource Center and get some help... they are VERY friendly and helpful.

hay, its your choice, not as bad as bringing unwanted baby into world, or one you're not prepared to take care of. Next time , use birth controll, its cheaper, free in most states at planned parenthood clinic! 500 sounds about right. call and ask. Best of luck!
