Thats "above average" I believe 1500 is the average mark. Its no 2200, but its pretty good, and you could probably get into most colleges with that score.

Sheesh, when I took it 1600 was the maximum; I'm guessing it's 2400 now? Anyway, your score report should tell you what percentile you were in; for example, a 98th percentile would mean you did better than 98% of the people who took the test.

amazing since back when i took them a 2400 was a one hundred percent perfect score. and a 1600 was good enough to get in almost anywhere as long as you had the gpa to go with it.

its a good improvement. with the new SAT scoring system i'm not exactly sure what is considered a good score and whats not. if your happy with it though then its good.
