((x + 2)/(x - 4)) + ((x - 2)(x + 3))

Multiply everything by (x - 4)(x + 3)

(((x + 2)(x + 3)) + ((x - 2)(x - 4)))/((x - 4)(x + 3))
((x^2 + 3x + 2x + 6) + (x^2 - 4x - 2x + 8))/((x - 4)(x + 3))
(x^2 + 5x + 6 + x^2 - 6x + 8)/((x - 4)(x + 3))
(2x^2 - x + 14)/((x - 4)(x + 3)
(2x^2 - x + 14)(x^2 - x - 12)

What are you doing? simplify? solve? did you mean to have an equation??

If the directions are to simplify, then collect "like terms"

x + x +2/x -2/x -4 +3

2x+0-1 = 2x-1

(x+2)/(x-4) + (x-2)/(x+3)

lcd = (x-4)(x+3)
so
((x+2)(x+3))/(x-4)(x+3) + ((x-2)(x-4))/(x-4)(x+3) =
((x^2 + 5x +6) + (x^2 -6x +8)) / x^2 - x - 12
(2x^2 -x + 14) / (x^2 -x - 12)

2/x-2/x=0

x+x=2x

-4+3=-1

0+2x-1=2x-1

Answer: 2x-1
