Odds are against it, with the parity in NFL teams.

No doubt. Peyton is smart. he will play at least another 7 years in the league. The defense is full of young talent (because they draft defense every year) and they have a defensive genius as a coach. The parity in the league is only going to help because you'll see other top teams getting upset in the playoffs then the Colts will beat the winner (see Pats and Chargers this past year). Bottom line is this is a great organization that has been elite for 4 or 5 years now and will stay that way at least as long. Also personnel executive Bill Polian took the Bills to 4 straight Super Bowls. Maybe he can do it again.

Of course they could, they could have reached the big game several times in the last few years. This coming season will be a good show I think. We've lost some great players ( Cato June, Dominic Rhodes ), but it's going to be a breakout year for Addai with Rhodes out of the way. Manning is always the best in the league, and Addai has the potential to become one the best backs in the league. With the monkey off Mannings back, Addai averaging 4.8 YPC last season, and the defenses stout performance throughout the playoffs, I foresee another 12+ win season, and at least a conference championship appearance.

I love Peyton Manning and am a Colts fan. I believe they can, but it's gonna be terribly hard. They did great against the Patriots. They had to play the Bears, come on Rex Grossman was not getting a SB Ring before Manning. Next season they'll have to deal with the same team and they'll end up being twice as hard to beat. They can't just expect to get a free ride next season, they have to play harder than ever.

Unfortunately for Colts fans... it won't happen again. They did one thing this past year that they don't normally do... minimized the mistakes. They are what they are ( thanks, D. Green) and they will always demonstrate that in the end. Manning is an outstanding QB, but he always (except for this past year) faulters when he has to get it done. I think the one thing that will cost them as well is that they will need to fire with other teams because their defense isn't going to be as good. This worked for the Rams for a year or so, but then they got out scored on. The Peyton's (aka colts) will contend for another two or three years, but they won't win it again.

NO. They have too much of the salary cap locked up on the offensive side of the ball, and they won't be able to stop anyone on defense. They won't be able to get back to the Super Bowl unless they dismantle their offense. I hate to say it, but if I were in the Colts' front office, I would probably let Marvin Harrison leave after this season to free up some salary cap room so that I could shore up the defense.

Will they ever returned? specific. i'm assuming the NFL would be around for a lengthy time and at last each group gets its 2nd (sure, even the Browns and Lions) so yet I actually think of the Colts would be returned quicker or later in time. interior of here few years nevertheless, i think of they have a reliable risk extra efficient than maximum communities, yet its returned to attempting to discover a thank you to get via all the playoffs returned. in my opinion i does not strategies them not likely to a distinctive great Bowl and another communities different than the comparable 3-4 going to the total Bowl for the AFC.

NO. The AFC is to good and as everyone else said their defense lost a lot of key players. And they didnt have the money to spend in free agency to replace them. They are going to use th draft to replace them but I would not want to depend on rookies.Sure there are some exceptions but more often then not rookies suck their first 2 years in the league. If they are going to do it, it will have to be within the next few years because Manning, Wayne, Harrison, and Freenay( will get,if he hasnt already) all have cap killer contracts and they are going to have to begin rebuilding. Anyways it wont happen because they wont have the talent on the defensive side of the ball to bail Manning out in the playoffs.

The real reason they won this year was because of their defense. How many players have left to strike it rich somewhere else? Marvin Harrison isn't getting any younger and Manning is what, 32? Besides, I'm sure he loved his Saturday Night Live skit and $200,000 paycheck for attending a sweet 16 birthday party for a couple of hours.

Peyton is 32, 10 years in the league.
Their offense is still very, very strong.
The loses on the Def side will hurt them until they can shore it back up(then again, it wasn't that strong to start with).
My opinion: Yes (but not for another 3 years at least)

Probably not. He usually can't deliver when there is pressure on him. It just that in XLI they used there offense and worked hard. Peyton Manning didn't have that many good plays. He had at least 2 interceptions. His offense worked a lot harder to complete Peyton's throws.
