Rather than offer you ideas for your thesis, let me suggest some major sources of ideas.
1. Your avatar indicates you're black--okay, "African-American" this year. (Mine, correctly, indicates I'm white. It doesn't show that I'm pushing 60.) What do your friends, relatives, and neighbors--especially if black--say about Dr. King? Do they have any evidence? Can you offer any for or against? For instance, my grandmother always said that MLK was a rabble rouser; he came to town, gave a great speech, and only AFTER he was gone, trouble erupted.
2. Considering the above and/or the following, you might argue that the opinions about King held by blacks, whites, and other races differ in this, that, and/or the other respect. If you've got the time, you could work up and administer a survey. (Good luck deciding how to handle Hispanics; the Census Bureau declares they can "be of any race"!)
3. Set Google to show 100 items per page (in Preferences), put in "Martin Luther King", then go to the second, third, or fourth page--however far you need to, to get away from the screamingly obvious sites--and check out the assertions made about King on several of those sites. Is their evidence any good? Can you support or attack their assertions?

The black community used nonviolent civil disobedience for a lengthy time devoid of effecting a metamorphosis. The Black Panthers got here alongside and desperate that if nonviolence did not artwork, they might attempt yet another approach: disagreement. it fairly is noted as swinging of the pendulum. that's a metamorphosis in physique of strategies and approach which may well be considered in many fields. working example, in psychology, Sigmund Freud's ideals have been challenged via Abraham Maslow's ideals. Then got here B F Skinner, etc. those are all distinctive strategies which got here approximately because of the fact each new theorist believed the earlier theorist's strategies-set replaced into ineffective. you will see the comparable ingredient in strategies to coaching, strategies to city making plans, etc. Google "history of..." and enter preparation, psychology, city making plans, and something you are able to think of of. you will see the pendulum bypass returned and fourth.
