I hate that. Sometimes, I have something really funny to say (well it's really funny to me) but then nobody laughs. It's like, what is wrong with you? Do you have a sense of humor?

My first season at Yosemite, I had a group of 50 people on my tram. I was giving them the best tour I could do. I was using my best jokes to no avail. Whatever I said went on deaf ears. This is a 75 minute tour with narration the whole way. When I was all done with this group, I took them back to the loading area where I learned that not one of them spoke a word of english. The ticket agent didn't tell me thinking it would be a great prank.

Like talkin to a WALL. I drop bombs on 'em all day and.... NOTHING! But I love when it happens in a quiet movie theater. It always happens to me during Will Ferrell or Jim Carrey movies. Yes, I have an awesome never sleeping sense of humor.
The best thing to do is just fake laugh and talk back to yourself, telling yourself how funny you are and how you crack yourself up.

I know what you mean, but I have not laughed at other peoples punch lines too. It is not ment to be rude, it's just a pause to think. Once you realize the joke (or story) is funny, it's almost too late. It's not our fault that some jokes just take a second to digest.

I hate to say it but I've never been in a more humorless class when it comes to poking a little gentle fun at themselves.

Yes, and I usually can't stop laughing. I also hate when I want to tell something funny, and can't stop laughing long enough to say it.

A good comedian has to gauge her audience. If one joke doesn't work, switch gears quickly and keep moving. Don't let a slow audience affect you. Try to find what they think is funny.

Omg yes especially when I try to be funny with my boyfriend and he doesnt laugh and anything his brother saysis so funny and when I try to same theexact joke as his brither hes like I dont get it, arghhhhhhhh that makes me so mad!

ya i get that all the time thats the problem all the jokes r played out and everybody has heard everything so nothing is funny anymore
