I think that you are asking a skewed question. If you have seen pictures of people leaving concentration camps, you realize how inappropriate and inaccurate you are. When it comes to slender women, however, many men are not necessarily attracted to their skinniness, they are just turned off by fatness. Also, some may think that a slender woman has more self control over her desires than a heavier woman, who they assume eats more food despite having more fat reserves. Others may view overweight people as greedier, or more focused on getting things for themselves. Whether or not these things are completely bogus, if it is what a guy thinks it will influence who he likes. Also, a body capable of athletic feats, such as running, was definitely evolutionary favorable, so men may have evolved to want to mate with 'athletic' woman. Hope this helps!! also the theory/study relating curves to intelligence sounds like a study that would quickly crumble under scientific scrutiny, though I would like to hear the physiological process that could link curves to intelligence :)

Its been termed "Manorexia" and yes, it does happen a lot. Its more noticed in women though because guys can be really thin and no one notices but when a woman loses a lot of weight she has a probelm...KWIM? Double standards.

Eating disorders aren't as much about weight as feeling out of control of your life. Eating is the ultimate control of your life. Many people with eating disorders have them because of another major issue they haven't dealt with so it turns into this.

yeah, one of my friends friends was actually bulimic (and he was NOT gay, thank u). its just that a lot of guys ARE thin, so you don't even think of them as having problems. women are more noticable cause we look a lot as a womans figure more than a man..its just more common in women.
