visual signs of rock culture are like images, facial expressions, gestures, poses clothing, hairstyle and so on. what are the ones that are specifically used in rock culture? how does it say something about the real meaning about performance and music? i really need some pointers on the questions below, whoever understand rock culture would be a great help.

Neat question. Hard to answer though...cause there's so many different styles that fall within rock. Some rockers (Bon Jovi, I'm thinking) give off a really cool, yet fairly positive vibe. Whereas others are more into the whole self-loathing, depraved thing, which isn't bad...cause it serves a wide audience and I think produces some very passionate music as well. I think you may want to watch the movie "School of Rock". Hehe...it's a comedy...but seriously, I think it does a good job of describing some of the central themes of rock- making loud music, rebelling against something, just getting together and having fun. Oh, also, another classic to watch would be "Spinal Tap"!!
