No you cannot clean flat paint walls if you have the same paint you can touch up walls where needed if you do not have the same paint can. From before dont go buy any at two different times it will never macth see the people who mix the paint or not good enough. ( excample ) As a painter if we had two gallons of the same paint to paint one room we mix them its called boxing together most times and you cannot take a chance one gallon may have one drop more pigment put in it maybe when the mixer lost count or turned his head. Now since you cannot clean you have to re-paint if you would like a paint that you can clean in the fulture use eggshell apply this paint cut in and roll one wall at a time fast as you can to stop laps and hat bands theses at the places that you have cut in with a nylon brush and the rolling nap what it really is ones goes on thicker than the other. NOTE : The darker the color the worst it can lap and hat-band dont be scared just roll close to the edges try to get them if you go with a dark color to use a deep-base paint so you will get better coverage. Go ahead and buy two gallons on 12 x 12 room 8ft walls and box together ok.( Eggshell finish paint ).

Cheap laundry detergent is best on flat paint and it must be like white to the color of the paint to show through...Flat picks up grease and colors easy... Tide would be good and even amounts of warm water and a cotton T shirt soft to wash rinse and dry if possible by air...too much rubbing and a chalk paste comes off the flat... I paint in white on flat...it is great and fresh...easy to wash off if you get it on your skin
