Tricky trivia...how genius are you?
Please help me with this trivia...i dont know the answer....its a tricky one but i know its correct that the change is USD3 but with the trick on the last part
with 49x2 as 98, where did the 1 go? that's the trick..pls help answer ... will appreciate the help

nope...dont add the total change to end up with $100 coz if you do that, its the end of the trivia...concentrate on the CHANGE which is $3...
50 is the first debt each (mom and dadd)
since u return 1 each, that makes 49 each...add 49 + 49 = 98....then you bring the remaining 1 from you...thats 99...so where did the other 1 go? only genius people can answer...dont compute according to the change,compute according to the 49... wrong answers from the posters ... :)

Jen wants to buy a blouse worth USD97... she doesnt have money so she asked 50 from her dad and another 50 from her mom...
She went back to the mall and bought the blouse.. How many was her change? US$3.00... She gave USD1 to her dad and another USD1 to her mom...
She borrowed money from her dad and mom worth 50 each but since she returned USD1 each, 49 x 2 = USD98 then from the change of USD3 she still has USD1 left from her pocket after returning USD1 each to her mom and dad....That was a total of USD99, where did USD1 go?
lets just take it this way,
Since Jen returned USD1 each to his mom and dad, she now only has a borrowed amount of USD49 each from his parents, amounting to USD98, not USD100 anymore. The blouse costs USD97 and she still has USD1 left in her that would total to USD98 not USD100!

The one dollar she has left is part of the $49 that it cost each her Mom and Dad. The dollar they each got back ($2 total) is the other two dollars. $49+$49+$2 = $100
