I want to become a singer Where should I move to to get a record deal really easily?

1. Nashville
2. New York
3. Gulf Shores, Alabama

Even the rockers are going to Nashville. And it would be really novel to get a great rock producer to produce an R&B album.

I don't think you can move anywhere to get a record deal really easily. But all the movers and shakers are in New York City or Los Angeles. There are record companies everywhere but I think you have to make a demo first of all and making a good demo is no small feat. That doesn't involve moving to either big city. A lot of cities have facilities for cutting demos. I am no expert on this. I do know that plenty of singers have been approached by record companies after they have been on the road and been heard at gigs. They have also made their demos and sent them to the companies.
