They go to heaven, silly. You know, up there in the clouds. God breathes them in and His lungs are so huge that He can hold His breath and keep them from coming back to hurt us.
P.S. Of course global warming isn't man's fault alone. But man pushed the warming a few degrees past the boiling point (so to speak). Get it now?

Well since most of the chemicals that we spew into the air are called CO2 and plants, trees, grass, etc... use that to live and create more oxygen for us then I am going to guess that most of it goes to those things. Yes we are a bunch of polluting fools and we should find ways to pollute less, and the three countries that pollute more than any other country should lead the way. Not to mention that those liberal elitists that think they are so much better than the rest of us, including you, that think it is ok for them to pollute but not anyone else can maybe lead by example instead of spewing all the hot air noone wants to hear that isn't helping matters any.
Then again junk science is exactly that and if you think that the government paid scientists that don't do real scientific studies but just say what they are told to say are so right then how do you explain the record low highs and record low lows that most of the country is experiencing right now, I know hundreds of people that are praying for global warming right this minute. If that is not good enough there is the uninhabited planet of mars that is going through worse global warming than we are right now and has been for a while, or are we somehow responsible for that also?

Anti-science? Anti-junk-science.
In pretty much every liberal generated crisis du jour, from a new ice age coming, the ocean being dead by 1990, the ozone hole giving everyone skin cancer, alar in apples killing millions of people, global warming etc. has nothing to do with real science. It is junk science that gives us such things.
To answer your question regarding chemicals, I must ask you this. Where do you think those chemicals come from? Where does anything we have come from? It comes from the earth and oceans of the earth. Where does it go? It returns from whence it came.
In case you did not realize it, man is of the earth, too. We do what we do because it is natural for our species to do it. Beavers build dams, rodents and small mammals dig burrows, wolves make dens and man builds cities, farms and machinery. It is what we were designed to do.
We are not a blight on the planet. We are blessed with the ability to change and modify our environment to suit our needs. It is nature that gave us this ability and it is nature that expects us to use it. Species that cannot adapt become extinct. This is nature's law not ours. In fact, nature could not care less about a particular species. The whole idea of "species" is a man made concept.
Someday, we will leave this planet and go on to others. I believe that is nature's plan for us. We will spread human life throughout the heavens. At least here on earth, we are nature's greatest experiment to date.

I get a kick out of the conservatives who say that plants use CO2 and they neglect some of the other pollutants that are having an impact on global warming.
Sulphur Dioxide (SO2)
Particulate Matter
Carbon Monoxide (CO)
Nitrogen Dioxide(NO2)
Ozone (O3)
Hydrocarbons
Benzene
1,3-Butadiene
TOMPs (Toxic Organic Micropollutants)
Lead (Pb) and Heavy Metals
Acid Deposition

No, they believe that the Earth is a gigantic place and the "little" that we spew into the atmosphere the Earth readily digests.
Seriously.
I have talked to people who believe the Earth has unending resources, and cannot be harmed by humans.
In the end, nature will win.

Dude your shoving global warming crap in our faces. I'd like to see more research and not a government funded response. I also think getting rid of the crap in the air is good, but do it ecomonically.

Who cares as long as they make some money off of it.
The earth has been here for billions of years - it is not in trouble. WE are in trouble. The planet will exist with or without us - it doesn't care . . .
