Problem with discussing with libs- they'll deny something- you prove it, then it's "so what."

CONTEMPT OF COURT CHARGE - by Judge Susan Weber Wright holding that Bill Clinton lied in testimony in a way that was intended to obstruct the course of a legitimate court proceding, the Paula Jones case. In otherwords, Clinton lied under oath and those lies were material to the trial - the standards needed to prove perjury.

I think this is how it went: Bush was guilty- but never formally charged--but that gave impetus to his impeachment-- and reason he was disbarred for 5 years in Arkansas

Make that Clinton - you wish Bush was - you're tune would be different

I don't think the case made it to trial. He should have been tried, convicted & jailed.

I don't know if he did or didn't commit perjury in the Paula Jones Case, but I know he did lie under oath about Monica. Paula Jones was a skank. I don't think Clinton raped her. She seemed like someone of easy virtue who saw an opportunity to have sex with the governor and move up in the world. Thanks to Ann Coulter and others she profitted nicely from what happened. She went from being a lowly paid secretary to driving around in an expensive Mercedes Benz. The one thing I criticize Clinton for is his lack of taste and discretion. Neither Monica or Paula were anything special to look at. He should have been impeached for bad taste. It will be interesting to see what happens to Alberto Gonzalez in nine days. He will testify under oath. He has done nothing illegal, yet, but he had better tell the truth on the witness stand.

Amazing, isn't it? You will find that most liberals have opinions about everything. They have a very broad knowledge base but it is very shallow. It is like a great lake that looks imposing but is only three inches deep. They almost appear to be similar to religious zealots about the things they believe. To them, criticizing Clinton, doubting global warming, or opposing abortion is not just a different point of view or even incorrect, it is blasphemy.

Indeed, he was found guilty of purgery. We all (should) know this. So, what is the issue at hand? He was impeached, and acquitted, quite a few years ago. You cant call me a "lib" either. You dont really know one damn thing about my overall socio-econo-political belief system.
I call them all as I see them.
Now, about the vitriol in your question sub-text.
Iraq's WMD's? What is the conservative response?
Can we not debate things without having to throw barbs?

LMAO, Clinton is the worst thing that happened to America.
I was in Europe at the time of his demise ie: Bare faced lying in front of the whole wide world, and that is when I personaly noticed the tides turning on America, like a friggin "TSUNAMI".

Are you talking about Paula or Monica. He lied yes. The fact that the only thing they could "get" him on was sexual escapades speaks for itself. Stupid of him to risk it yes but worth all the hulabaloo who cares. You don't think every one in the whitehouse was spotless come on....Euros think we are real jerks. Much worse sins have been committed than his escapades. Look at Enron, and if you don't think other Pres. aren't fooling around you are really nieve. Get over it dude.

I don't think he even testified. You can't perjure yourself if you don't testify.
I am far from a fan of Bill Clinton, but I hate the spread of lies on here. If I'm wrong about him never testifying, I would be willing to admit it though.

Ethics and morality standards only applies to reps, if they transgress they must resign, dems just get the old wink-wink nudge-nudge and re-elected.
