It's not the liberals that you have to worry about. It's the number of women who are gonna die from back alley abortions. Or home remedy's for pregnancy.

Yay bat to the abdomen. Nothing like getting rid of that pesky pregnancy. Or how about a metal coat hanger up the vagina. Both of which have been know to cause massive bleeding and death.

What you conservatives don't get is the number of abortions won't change. It's just the amount of deaths of women that will. And of course it's not gonna be the affluent women who suffer, no they can go to Canada or some other more progresssive country. Who still think that women aren't mentally retarded individuals who can't make a decision for themselves. Oh no it's gonna be the poor and lower middle class women who die.

But what do conservatives care. These people don't usually vote Republican anyway.

Abortion in cases where the mother would be endangered will probably never become illegal. I think liberals could take it if it was otherwise illegal, but they'd probably stage some protests for women's rights.

are you willing to use your tax dollars to fund babies who cannot be supported by the parents? are you willing to fund the medical costs of women who experience complications during pregnancy? or complications from back alley abortions?
you think if abortion becomes illegal, people still wont have abortions?
drugs are illegal...people still take drugs, right?

Maybe start by reminding you that the right to abortion is based on the right of privacy, so if abortion is outlawed, that may legally open the way for the government to outlaw birth control, dictate when and how you have sex, etc. Have fun with that.

If you're in Canada, you'll go to the USA. If you're in the USA you will come to Canada. Abortions are about choice and quite frankly, do not concern politicians. Church and state matters should remain seperate... Governments should not be able to regulate and legislate a person's reproductive rights... next thing they'll tell me how to eat, breathe and sh!t.
