In general the residents of Hollister despise Hollister Clothing Co. They shut down all local clothing makers that had a Hollister name in their label, even though they existed before Hollister Clothing Company, which is Los Angeles based. Big town lawyers sued and flexed their money to shut down small businesses making jeans locally. No local stores carry their products. Hollister is an agricultural community, and a bedroom city for San Jose, CA electronics companies. Hollister still sponsors its own local rodeo, horse show parade, and County Fair grounds. It is an upcoming award winning wine producing area. About 45 minutes east of Monterey/Carmel CA.

i live nearby and people juz wear watever...if u think that everyone is running round in hollister clothing, u're dead wrong!!!
