This question may or may not have anything to do with gay marriage.
Do you believe that America would be a better country, a truely free country, if the federal, state or local government were given the authority to dictate to people who they can and can not marry?
Let's assume we're talking about adults, all states already have age limitations in place.
What about very elderly people?
What about mentally retarted people?
What about couples who are greatly different in age?
What about interracial couples?
When, if at all, is it in the public's best interest to prohibit two people from getting married?
Please share your thoughts on.
