It's because of terrorists. Most of them are middle eastern. And because it's stereotypical. And because they're mostly Islamic, which is the religion of terrrorists.

Middle Eastern people are not hated. Muslims are hated for being intolerant of other religion, being arrogant, and treating the rest of humanity as nothing more than a pestilence. It just happens that the majority of Muslims are in the Middle East.

Love, Kindness, Respect, Common Sense, Compassion, Tolerance for Differences and treating all as equals is all that one need to be respected.

It has to do with the "PERCEPTION" that they beleive the Islam religion fanatically, and in doing so, buy into the idea that the greatest glory to Allah is to die in defending Allah, by destroying the non beleivers. Everyone fears, someone who will willingly take his own life to kill others.

It doesn't matter that there are few of these people in the whole Muslim world, It's just that the fanatics can't be told apart from the non fanatics until something happens.

Because politics makes them seem bad.
and its also because many people are just racist.
I am middle eastern and I am very proud of where I came from.
Being Iranian is such an amazing thing, and no matter how many people hate what my race is, screw them. I love being iranian and nothing can make me be ashamed of who I am.

It's all about religious and sexual repression.
Look at the parts of the world where this does/did exist and you'll find violence.
Look at parts of the world that are liberated from these repressions and you find much more contentment.

The "hate" comes from the guilt and the anger and, human nature being what it is, it is easy to direct it at someone or something other than the cause. Very common.

Very sad, too.

They bend one way only and it is irritating. I had a neighbor for years who was pakistani.I did numerous favors for him ,he was an engineer but was inept at life.I fixed his VW,I fixed his TVantenna(he was afraid to go on the roof).I watched his kids when his wife went to have a baby, and many other things. Finally one day he asked me to help him change his 50 gallon water heater. Now his 2 brothers were there and they were clueless.I told him he couldn't lift it because it was full of water,so I drained it ,unhooked it and took it down.
"Oh thank you"he says "I'd like you to come for steak dinner, how about Friday?"
I said" Thanks but I have tickets for the Dodger game ,but some other time would be great".
That SOB didn't talk to me for over a year.
Oh,I forgot the time his wife mixed her meds and passed out and the weakling couldn't pick her up.Who gets the call? You got it big Rod.I scooped her up off the floor ,she felt like a water bed so flabby.
I guess I caused him to lose face in front of his brothers or something. How about "I don't friggin' know your stupid ethnic rules dip s**t! Get over it .Your're here now learn ours!
I have found all Muslims to be like this over my considerable years.
Man did you strike a nerve with me!
One more thing ,his son used to eat at our house ALL the time .He couldn't stand their food. His mom said she found like 11 sandwiches under his bed. That she had made for school. She never got a clue.

People are obsessed and look for answers from the media. They are afraid beyond terrorist in the Middle East that they think anyone Pakistani, Afgani, Iraqi, etc here in America are terrorist too, which is a sad generalization from people. We currupt the muslim religion, and Muslims who wear their garments to fight the fear of what we don't quite understand, and again, that is sad.

Many times, people who aren't educated about Islam assume that everyone from the middle east is a fundamentalist who has the goal of killing anyone who doesn't subscribe to their faith. You can thank the Cole and 9-11 for that.
