Well I don't know about 16 but I got pregnant at 15 with my daughter. My mom cried when I told her but then she put her arms around me and told me that we would get through this. It made a lot of difference having my mom by my side cuz I don't think I could have done it without her help. But when u make your bed you have to lie in it and that is what I did. My daughter will be 7 in May and me and her daddy are married with another one on the way. All this is possible because my mom supported me and stood behind me and was there for me when no one else was.

It's not what my mom would have said if I would have told her I was pregnant at 16 years old. I definitely would have worried about what my Dad would have said. I didn't have to worry about it because I didn't even date at 16 years old.

I would have had more to fear from my grandmother than my mother if I told them I was pregnant at 16.

Said? !Uh..... *5 minute pause* Sorry, I can't get past the part where she wraps her sweet little Mamma hands around my neck and won't stop wringin it. That would have been a blaaaack day. But the next day she would have told me that the baby on the way is welcome and would receive endless love. Sex makes babies. Ask the LORD for strength. Get yourself together. Save your money. Stuff like that.

My parents freaked when I was 29, pregnant and unmarried.
I don't even want to guess what would have happened if I were 16!!

At first she would seem dissapointed, but I know that after a little time she would accept it and everything would be alright. All issues like that are usually hard at first, but with time most things become more 'alright'. Good Luck :)

She was happy and exited to be a grandmother. It did piss her off however that I waited until I was six months along.That was 12 years ago.

my mom would be kinda mad but she would just do what needed to be done ( doctor app.s, baby shopping, ect) and then be happy when the baby was born. but still make me go to school and get a job....dad would be pisses though..dont even want to think of what he would have done
