I was born on Friday the 13th. I don't see anything evil or bad to be concerned with. I'd like to see what the Yahoo community has to say. : )

Friday the thirteenth came about when the french king had all the KNIGHTS TEMPLAR murdered because he thought they had too much power. It has been considered unlucky ever since has nothing to do with ghost or goblins.

You are absolutely right. There is plenty of talk in the book 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' about how the almighty church changed history. Friday the 13th wasn't a good day for the Knights Templar, but long before that it was a holy day. It was the King who turned it around on the day the KT were murdered. Just as the church has, so far, changed the important roles of the Virgin Mary, and Mary Magdalene.
PS My statue of the Virgin Mary wears a red cloak, just as she's seen wearing while sitting next to Jesus in the Last Supper.

Friday the 13th comes after Thursday the 12th and before Saturday the 14th. As for the assiciation of evil, i guess some people just look to blame SOMETHING for their erroneous perceptions.

for starters ever hear of the friday the 13th massacure which involved the knights templer. secondly in the early days of film it was the only day that actors would sign contracts. and it aint a trilogy it's got about ten movies named after it.

well People Blame there bad Day on it being the Friday the 13 .If Things go wrong it is because they think it is an evil day.It is just another day ,I meen we all Joke about it.
