Yes, I got both. They are more common during pregnancy and need to be treated immediately.

It's common to get a yeast infection right after being treated for a UTI.

However, UTIs cause preterm labor, so during pregnancy, it's a rather serious problem.

Yeast infection is actually how I knew I was pregnant this time. They can be caused by a change in hormonal balance...the only times I've ever had them is when I'm pregnant or nursing! UTI is common in pregnancy, too. The best thing to do is make sure that your panties are breathable cotton, wipe front to back (so you are not dragging bacteria into your urethra), and do not hold your pee...just go as soon as you feel the urge.

Um yes, I had a UTI, kidney infection and a yeast infection, and a kidney stone. The only time I have ever had any of these was when I am pregnant.

I got UTI's several times during my pregnancy. Get is checked out straight away and start treatment for is ASAP. They can be dangerous for both you and baby if left untreated, they can lead to kidney problems for you and have been know to cause premature labour. I got my first UTI at 15 weeks and it was treated with a course of antibiotics, but it then returned about 3 weeks later, this cycle continued up until I gave birth at 34 weeks, the docs believed that it was the infections that ultimately caused me to deliver early.

(I'm on my boyfriend's account, so you know why someone named Robert is answering)

I got six yeast infections while I was pregnant, plus the one I came into the pregnancy with. Four of those were in the last two months. It's the higher hormone levels, they can cause the UTI's (thankfully I never got one of those) and yeast infections. They're very common during pregnancy, but you need to let your doctor know ASAP so he can prescribe you something for it.

Yes you can get yeast infection while pregnant and it is recommended that it should be looked after ASAP, so you are not passing it to baby.
Also have no intercourse while having yeast infection as you may be passing it on and your partner can give it back to you if both are treated. As my family doctor told me!
