Well, you have made a good example of Devolution here: the term is "few people," not "little people." And what is "grasping the old new?" Fact is, the term "dumbing down" was created to explain what is happening in modern culture because too few people understood the term "devo" (short for devolution) when a rock group back in the 70s or 80s warned us what was happening.
As to "evolutionary psychology," you have not defined it. I would argue that the essence of evolution for humans is mate selection, since mere survival is currently supported by government programs to the extent that it no longer functions as a major process in evolution. It used to be that survival was largely a pass/fail IQ test, with some physical testing necessarily involved. Now survival is very nearly guaranteed to the extent possible, so mate selection is most of what moves us.
Puts a lot of pressure on young women to choose carefully when it comes to the nitty gritty, doesn't it?

I do believe there is a field called Psychological Anthropology, however Cultural Anthropology, oddly enough, does cross a good deal into the realm of psychology. Simply for the fact that our culture molds our psychology. You may do well going in to that practice, however the jobs are very limited. As for jobs in psychology, people say they're avaliable, and avaliable they are, but the field is FIERCELY competitive. You could try a double major of the two subjects as well.

1. Because love, relationships, and the dfference between men en awomen ARE confusing.
And only a handful of people study in this field.
2. And even in science, all the things they say and believe are true, are in fact interpretations on their own.
And might as well ALL be BS as well !!
Get it?
So why not let everyone else have their own
version of what evoloutionary psych is al about or what is or isnt.
They do not talk more sense or nonsense then you science people do..
GET IT?
PM me with your views on evolutionary psychology.

its few, so few people...
because we no longer think. we think we think, but what we think, isnt what we think it is. (i think)
my humour sucks, i know, but its 4 24am....
we foget what we already know, and we dismiss it too easily, we think we know best, when al lwe know is different...but different to what? its all relative. understanding the old, is a barrier to accepting the new, no one likes change..so we dismiss the information accrued, and aquiesce to recieved knowledge. we stopped looking for another thruth, we accept what we are told and dont question things.
we accept because its easier, like sheep to a dip, we know its good for us, how could it not be...
for so many years weve been molycoddled and spoon fed we have forgotten how to search for the truth behind actions, behind policy and behind teh people who make decisions on our behalf...and we don not hold them accountable or responsible... we accept the lies, because teh truth is unsettling... its disturbing to find what you thought was, is in fact something else...
some of us question, some of us seek a truth... but its an uphill battle... and all i can say is.. well, nothing... my voice is alone in the darkkness, my issues and concerns will be ignored and dismissed by people who think they know my mind, and can gauge the opinions therein...
i have two pet phrases;
just because someone has no reason to lie dosent mean they wont.
and: perception is based on proximity. the close you are, teh less you see...
and a third i just remembered..well its late....or early...
information recieved as the truth, in the absence of contrary information will be percieveds to be the truth... and accepted as such....
goodnight world... sleep tight.

because not everybody studies it (or they dont bother to learn it)...it takes common sense to know that. i am studying business. now my question is..why do some intelligent people lack common sense??? i understand it but i know not everybody gets to take a better look at it or they simply don't care.
