I go to Google and enter the title of the book along with the word "review", or the title along with the word "analysis" or along with the word "summary". Example, 'The Grapes Of Wrath AND analysis'. If I don't get any hits on the first, one of the others usually has something. It's tedious and takes a lot of digging around. If you get better suggestions I shall be most interested. (If it's an obscure book, you have to include the author's name.)

I love the links here. Opinions that matter? All listed. There's the NY Times Review of Books, the Boston Globe, the Chicago Tribune, the LA Times, Atlantic Monthly, and lots more. Have a gander at 'em.
PS For UK people, there's the Guardian ( http://books.guardian.co.uk/ ), the Sunday Telegraph ( http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/books/), and the London Times ( http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/books/ )
Basically, just check out the websites of major newspapers. That, or go a directory like DMOZ ( http://dmoz.org/Arts/Literature/Reviews_and_Criticism/Magazines_and_Newspapers/ ) or Yahoo! Directory ( http://dir.yahoo.com/Arts/Humanities/Literature/Reviews/ ), where you can find link upon link upon link to book review sites. More than you'll ever need.

I really enjoy the New York Times, Saturday Edition because that has the book review. Also try a book review magazine like Book Ends. Pages was the best magazine but it went under. Also try books.com....

As a librarian, I go to Library Journal, Booklist, Choice and since I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy, I get Locus Magazine.

Sometimes you can find good websites - I like this one because it reviews metaphysical books every month:

all suggestions have merit. i do what one said: i pick a question and "google it." i try to use a provocative question and then i alter it if i don't get what i need.
some of the suggestion i read looked really good. try those first.
