It's not always malware: How to fix the top 10 Internet Explorer issues

----------------------------
I find most IE problems are caused by bad add-ons.
Run Internet Explorer with no add-ons installed
Start - All Programs -Accessories -Systems Tools - Click on “Run Internet Explorer (no add-ons)” If IE runs ok you have one or more bad add-ons.
In IE tools - Programs - Click on “Manage Add-ons”. Disable all add-ons then restart. Enable one add-on and restart. If ok enable another ad-on. Repeat until you find the add-on(s) that are causing the problem.
If this does not work you may need to reinstall IE7, uninstall IE7 with Ad/Remove programs. This will take you back to IE6.
Run Windows Live OneCare “Full Service Scan” http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm
Reboot.
Reinstall IE7

The Person that answered right above is correct the most probable reason for this error is that you browser has become corrupted... this sounds far worse than it really is simply go and update the browser and that should fix it.... NOW if it does not fix it go to the site and download the newest install of internet explorer then deleted the one you are using and reinstall the version you just downloaded.... Now if those two things dont work (which they should)... another but less probable reason is somewhere just from surfing you picked up spyware/ad ware that is causeing this... the easiest way to get rid of it is to go to www.download.com then search for Spybot download it and then install and run it you will be amazed at what it finds.... Another program to get while your there is Adaware what spybot misses adaware finds..... hope that helps

Hello. I am glad you take this matter to us. Here is my opinion and advice.
If you don't have an Anti Spyware program on your computer, chances are that you computer is infected with spyware.
Another problem with PC users is that they download free stuffs off the Internet which eventually ruin their computer, especially IE.
Please be informed that free stuffs from the Internet are extremely harmful while they could also be useful.
1 scan your computer for viruses and spyware and remove them if detected.
2 quit downloading free stuffs off the Internet, unless you trust the source.
3 Do not visit porn site, for they contain destructive codes that damage your computer.
4 disable phishing filter in IE. To do so, click on tools located to the upper right on your IE, then select phishing filter and disable it.
If the problem isn't corrected, you may need to restore your computer to an earlier date.
5 Go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools and system retore.
You have a blessed day.

If your Internet Explorer is not yet updated, try to update it first. On the Menu bar, go to "Tools" then click "Windows Update" (get the patches/security updates that you need). If after updating you still encountered the same problem, you might need to re-install your Browser.
