They don't enjoy simple things such as stapler juice, wet cement, all bran, to staple their selves to the ceiling just for fun, dead giraffes, flamingos nor baby helicopters.
Trust me, it's the best thing that could happened to you.

I used to be a telemarketer... NOT a fun job.. but I had to pay the bills some how. They wont joke around with you because at most places they are just able to sell their product, other than selling the product they are not allowed to engage in any sort of "off the subject" conversation because they are timed and listened in on by their supervisor, and that can lead to expulsion or even termination (harsh huh?) Also a way to get rid of telemarketers is to ask them to take you off of their list. It is a law now that if someone asks you to take them off the list they are required to by law. But make sure before you hang up to make them verify your number to make sure they have taken you off their list. Hope this helped!!!

That's hilarious. It's more fun to get rid of them in a funny way rather than hanging up on them. We always did this:
Telemarketer: Could I have a moment of your time?
Me: Actually I'm a little busy, but you could give me your home number and I'll call you back later today.
Telemarketer: Uhhh...
Me: Oh. I see...you don't like people calling you at home do you?

Hahaha....maybe next time I'll try proposing to them..
