Should The Statler Brothers be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame?

I saw that the first CW McCall Album was dated 1975
The Statler Brothers "Flowers on the Wall" was done in 1965.
And the music was written by the Lew DeWitt the groups Tenor at the time, he's dead now.

HELL YEAH! I love those guys! their harmony was-is the best hand down! HAROLD,JIMMY,DON.PHIL AND (RIP) LEW! MY FAV STATLER TUNE IS " "I'LL GO TO MY GRAVE LOVING YOU"! I WENT TO 4 OF THEIR FAREWELL SHOWS AND CRIED MY EYE BALLS OUT, HUNG OUT BY THE BUS, FINALLY GOT TO MEET THEM AND HAVE MY PIC TAKEN WITH ALL FOUR, AND NOW ALL IS WELL WITH THE WORLD!

I didn't know they weren't. That seems like a no - brainer to me. Maybe those who do the voting have a problem with " counting the correct number of flowers on the wall ".

If they got in for songs like Flowers On The Wall, they would deserve it.

yes there a great group that have been around for a while !!if they would have toured and traveled,,,as others did u would not be asking {i dont think}< truley not trying to be smart> but they entertained at a slower pace and did alot of gospel stuff and enjoyed their family's ,,,,but they where not only a great singing group ,,,they were great entertainers ,like minnie pearl,grandpa jones,lula, and many others

Just today, I heard one of their songs on the radio: Who am I to say? Love it.
