Hi there,

I disagree with theese answers for a few simple reasons. The first being that even though some might have expierenced early pregnancy bleeding it was proabably not implantation bleeding if there pregnancy test showed up positive.

Why do you ask? Well this is due to the simple fact that your body doesnt start making the hgc hormones (pregnancy hormones) until after the baby has full implanted.

So it would be after the implantation happed that you would get the result thus after the bleeding.

I say 7 days after the bleeding/spotting has stopped completely you can get an accurate result.

Andi is right, it has to implant fully and attach itself before it can make the pregnancy hormones, i had implantation cramps for 10 days after two days of no cramps i took a test and got a faint line, but also did three during implantation and got all definate negatives. test first thing in the morning two to three days after implantation bleeding to get an accurate result. good luck.... Ps google is a great place to research this topic....

Yes, bleeding doesn't affect the result at all. The test looks for the HCG pregnancy hormone.
