To me hope feels like... like being caressed by the wind. Have you ever felt the wind? Being caressed lightly. It is not a strong touch, it's a very light touch, barely touching your skin but you can sense it's there. That's what hope feels like. Something that is soothing you, something that is not certain (like a strong touch) but something that makes you feel its presence despute the fact taht it's not certain.

Certainty feels like a strong and determined touch. Hope is more like a barely audible whisper that intrigues you and makes you want to hear more in order to understand what the whisper is saying. You know what it feels like... Just imagine that you're very relaxed and all of a sudden you hear a song, a barely audible but very beautiful song. You keep hearing it but it's very low so you just wait and stop moving in order to understand it. That's what hope feels like. Like something that keeps you dreaming just like barely audible songs keep you listening. Even if you don't have the certainty that you're actually hearing them, you know and you feel that they're there...

A lightness in your heart and mind in the middle of a serious or bad situation.
