Email me and explain what exactly is happening (confidence level). I would be interested in knowing you medical history. I can give you some suggestions and point you in the right direction.

This is a complicated question that you would have to discuss in detail with your doctor.
Anxiety can definitely inhibit achieving an erection, but it would seem less likely to cause loss of erection, unless your female partner is doing or saying something to embarass or humiliate you.
Do you happen to bicycle a lot? If so, there can be damage to the small blood vessels and nerves responsible for an erection.
The prescription drugs for ED really do work, but they are very expensive and it would be unusual for a young person to need these.
Alcohol, many drugs such as the SSRI antidepressants, and cigarette smoking can all impair erectile function.

Confidence may very well be the issue. But you mention being in great shape, there are a couple of things related to that that can interfear. If you are a biker it could be nerves, if you are a roid user it could be hormones, etc. Check with your doctor. Don't be embarassed, he's heard it all before.

it's no joke to suffer erectile dysfunction at any age, at your age, I would be concerned about hidden abnormalities that you may not be aware of;.......make an appointment with a Urologist and get checked out thoroughly, if all is well physically then you may just want to consult a sex therapist. But often psycho-social problems will pass with time and confidence gained. Good luck to you.

Very likely it is due to nerves. The only other thing is that it could be a side effect of anti-depressant therapy. It is also very much more common than you think.

Sucks to be you, mate. Take some Viagra or something. Maybe some steroids would help increase the testestorone as long as you don't mind sack shrinkage.
