I get my period for about two months at a time with only a week or two in between. Is there any kind of medication that I can take to help this? I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and I was hoping to discuss it then. Thank you!

Your hormones or thyroid are probably out of whack. Discuss this with your doctor. He or she will be the best one to advise you. There are medications that will help to regulate your period, such as birth control pills.
