It depends what kind of complex your talking about. You'll have to be more specific than that.

I can tell you that psychiatrists prescribe medication, although some provide psychotherapy. Psychologists, in most states, can only perform psycho therapy. Many people have many different approaches.

Added Comment: It sounds like you have trouble managing your feelings concerning a physical disability. If the disability is permanent, most psychologists would teach you strategies to cope with your disability. If you have an inferiority complex because you have a disability, the counselor would help you cope with that. In some cases people develop a depression concerning these feelings and medication, such as an anti-depressant can help.

I know what your going through. I'm bipolar. I take meds and see a therapist both. The answer to your question is you need to get in touch with a place called Mental Health Mental Retardation Center. They will help you with your meds and therapy if you need it. Also they will work with you on a payment plan that best helps you. They are a good organization and they are helping me.
