Hit the grocery store, pick up a barbecued chicken (4.99), a tub of potato salad (2.99) and a 2 litre of my favorite soft drink (1.99). Then I eat like a queen for the next 3 days.

I've been in that position before actually. I graduated from college about 6 months after 9/11 and the economy was still in the $hitter so I couldn't find a decent job. I submitted over 70 job applications to just about everyplace I could find that was hiring and all I could get was a part-time retail job at the mall 2 days a week, paying peanuts. It got so bad that I was borrowing money from my girlfriend, considering selling my car, and I only had $13 in my wallet, $11 in my bank account, and had maxed out my credit card. I bought bread, soup, peanut butter and drank tap water. Luckily, I finally found a job two days after I spent that $11 dollars. My roommate at the time was nice enough to supply me with beer. If I hadn't gotten that job, I wouldn't have even had a roommate...or a home...by the next month. Whew!

I would go to this local Middle Easter restaurant and have their salmon shish-kabob plate which includes long white rice, salmon, hummus, flat bread, and a small feta cheese salad...with a large drink. I always get this meal when I'm hungry thinking I will finish it but I never do, however; it always fills me up and is under $10!

A spicy chicken soft taco, a chalupa, and a small Dr. Pepper from Taco Bell. And buy a bottled water. Gotta have water.

since im gonna starve either ways once the $10 is finished... i may as well starve a day earlier and take a risk and buy some lotto tickets... you never know i might win !!!! if i dont... i have nothin to lose....gonna starve both ways !!!

A loaf of bread and a large bottle of water... Although if I had another few dollars it might end up and sandwich and a bottle of Coke.

Either a candy bar and small drink... or go to the store get some bread and jelly, water, fruit, cookies, i don't know some stuff i can afford...

water, free
2 dollars for soap, and a clean shirt at the salvation army, to look good at the interview for my next job.
the rest of it is for gas money,, to make it to that interview.
