just noticed today that there making a new Halloween film and looking more into depth about the beginning of Michael Myres..
people should just leave the classics alone - what do you people think?

From what I've seen & heard of Zombie's "re-envisioning", he's making Michael into just a plain, easily explained psycho. He 's taking away the concept that Michael is just a human shell who is possessed by true evil. Zombie has given Michael the backstory of a sad childhood to explain his evil ways; which goes against the logic of the original & Loomis' obsession with him. Don't know if I'll be able to watch this remake gone wrong.

'Halloween' is my all-time favorite movie. The thoughts of anyone remaking it make my stomach uneasy. But Rob Zombie is NOT remaking it. Sure he's gonna tinker with it a little bit but, like JOSH M says, if it were anyone 'other than' Rob Zombie I would be really upset. But I believe Rob is the ONLY current director capable of exploring John Carpenter/Debra Hill's vision. I did not like Rob's first 2 movies, but I DID like the directing approach he used and can't wait for Halloween 8 to come out!

Rob Zombie is a genius. If it was anybody else making this movie I would think it was a stupid idea but he should have an interesting take on it and breath new life into the slasher film.

I think Rob Zombie (who's doing the remake) needs to stick with music! He's an awful director,and will definately make a pigs ear of Halloween like he's done with his other films!

This is my all time fav horror movie and while I think Rob Zombie is terrific, I agree that the classic original will always be the best. "If it aint broke, don't fix it".

ok dont laugh yet i nevertheless kinda bypass trick or treating.. i mentioned kinda if im with my lil sis... nicely in any case i replaced into jogging down the line as quickly as I observed some *** hollow that looked merely like michael myers... Creepy... nicely he did began jogging slowly in the direction of me and **** i panik and ran....i replaced into screaming like hell .... Its no longer humorous however...

its a classic....still terrifies me to this day....and the theme tune....the best scary music tune ever....
