Uhhhh.... maybe you want to re-word your question.

If an asteroid blew up the Middle East, that would mean no survivors. If you blow something up, you don't have injured people, you have pieces of people.

Now, if an asteroid of this magnitude hit in this area, the oil wells would most likely ignite, so the biggest problem would not be humanitarian aid, but ecological. You'd have to extinguish the flames because the amount of soot released into the atmosphere would probably be enough to affect the weather.

I don't donate now. No I wouldn't donate then either. My honest ethical feeling is that everything terrorist is from the Middle East. It would be nice if some Buddhist, or Hindu would do something for a change but it is always Muslim. The land of peace and love for each other. Glad they don't love me.

Absolutely. Particularly as an asteroid of that magnitude landing on a large land mass might have serious repercussions that we would feel throughout the world. Beyond that, submerging people into 4th world conditions only increases fanaticism and gang behavior.

I'd break out the Schlitz. Seeing Bush with a tin cup on the corner -- because his buddies Bin Laden and the Saudis had been blown to kingdom come, and he suddenly had no world ally and no source of income -- would make such a calamity almost worthwhile. Almost.

No. The Red Cross is a ripoff. They don't want to speak to you unless you're wanting to make a donation.

Besides, in the Middle East they have the Red Crescent.

I feel most people are good in the middle east. It's the few radical ones ( Leaders) that give them a bad rap
