Did you like "The Pursuit of Happyness"?

Because I was really psyched up about seeing it and last night while watching the movie I was so BORED!!! Maybe because everyone said how great it was so I had it overestimated??? Not sure, I just thought it wasn't all that great.

Anytime someone talks something up, you're always disappointed. So whenever someone says, "This movie is GREAT!" to me, I go in expecting it to suck, and it usually exceeds my expectations.
Having said that, I didn't really hear much about the Pursuit of Happyness, and I didn't really like it. It was good character development and good acting, but it wasn't that great. I didn't learn anything, really. And it had a happy ending, but the whole movie I wanted to kill myself cuz it was so depressing!

well i r eally liked itas well as my bf who hates all the chick flicks. we both gave it great reviews and have seen it a couple of times. i thought that will smith gave a really powerful performance and same with his son in real life who plays his son in the movie. it was a very inspirational movie of not to give up and to fight for what you want~awesome movie and the point that is trying to get across. i dont know how you could of fallen asleep or be bored w/ this movie. as for being too overestimated, no i do not agree with that: the critics were honest with their reviews.

Wow! I saw it last night to! I thought it ended to abruptly and it didnt say anything about the mom after she moved to NY. I certainly didn't think that it deserved nominations!! But the beginning was good!!! I live in San Francisco so it meant a little more (ya know, the landmarks)

It was a very emotional movie. I felt bad for the two people (will smith and son) who make an annual salary that exceeds all of those of the people sitting in the movie theater combined. How ironic!

I dont know i rather liked it actually which is a big deal for me because i usually hate the drama mamma movies but i think will smith did a really good job in this one and i'd buy it

I really liked the story line in this movie, but thought the plot could have been a little more dramatic. It was monotonous, and a little slow.

I watched it last nite too and i didnt expect much i just knew it was sad, but i thought it was good its sad though i dont know how you caould of gotten bored

I didn't really expect anything because I didn't know what the plot was. Once I saw it, I guess I was satisfied. I'm glad he got the job. He worked so hard.
