warm showeres hot water bottle or some hot pad from the chemist
slow neck exercises up & down & side to side but very slowly!! you poor thing
if you have a foam neck brace to wear around the house it's great you can get them at the chemist too
hows the throat?

Hot then cold compress.Use the hot to relax and then the cold to set the muscle.Worked for me.
