evne though the movie will be released next month on the 25th of May, when is the actual DVD release of the film ???
also, is it going to be widescreen edition and 2-Disc Special Collectors Edition, or 2-Disc Widescreen Edition and 2-Disc Full-Screen Edition.
Also, we know that the movie will be released on Blu-Ray as well !!!!!

Judging from history, it will be a two (possibly three disk) set, widescreen and released in November/December. I'm also guessing there will be some sort of uber deluxe boxed set containing all three films (packaged maybe in a pirate "chest"?) & some other great goodies.

It's a little too early at this point to nail down a DVD release date. Supplimental material is still being produced at this point for the "Special Features" content.
The one place I always get accurate info on DVD releases as soon as they're announced is www.imdb.com

Trust the mouse to find the best possible way to market it for the maximum $$$. Based on what happened with DMC, they will have several options available for the intial release, then they'll probably cook up something to combine all three movies.

Most summer blockbusters are released on dvd during the Christmas holidays, as to cash in on the big holiday spending.

don't know but this is what is going to happen in the movie if u care to no... umm... well a "source" of mine told me this about the movie and his role... believe me if you want she's pretty honest about things so... ok well chow yun fat is one of the nine pirate lords (most powerful pirates i'll explain about that later) and well he captures elizabeth because he thinks she's a ancient chinese water princess (sp?) eventually chow yun fat dies and he gives elizabeth his power as one of the 9 pirate lords, and his ship... later on elizabeth is one of the lords and takes place in the figh etc.... anyway the reason he is saying "welcome to singapore" is because all the lords gathered to fight the government because they want to kill all pirates, so he is saying "welcome" to the other lords...
