Colin Powell would have a fair chance, but he hasn't entered the race.
I think anyone even remotely connected to the Bush administration doesn't have a chance.

Of those running, I would say that Rudy has the only legitimate shot out of the Republicans. If he can survive the primary, he will be intensely difficult to beat for any Democrat. Mitt Romney is all but dead and buried in my opinion. He will not look good under heavy scrutiny because of how vastly he has changed his stances on issues, and is coming under fire even this week for telling someone a little white lie about being a lifelong hunter. McCain is even more of a hawk on Iraq than Bush is, so unless things there take a sharp turn for the better he will be inextricably linked with the biggest problem of the Bush administration.
Rudy is the only Republican, in my opinion, who can beat any of the top 3 or 4 Democrats running because the Democrats enjoy such a head start in public opinion. I saw a poll today on Meet the Press showing that in a generic head to head race, the American public prefers a Democrat to a Republican by 20 or 25 points. Rudy did a solid job as mayor of NYC, he enjoys a rockstar status among politicians, and he can campaign as someone moderate and outside the Beltway meaning he can successfully run away from the Bush legacy.

Rudy Guiliani and Mitt Romney. Everyone else has not shot really at all. Both guiliani and romney know how to work with liberals and steal liberal votes. Plus they are really the only moderate candidates in the entire race except maybe mccain

Im going for Romney. He is reformed, although he may not always be real, but what politician is nowadays-:(. I just want someone moral to win. I want someone who cares more for doing what is right than doing what is politically correct. Maybe this guy is the one I want. Hillary and Edwards are corrupted. Obama is fresh, but his experience is low and he is morally misguided. But better him than the other Dem candidates.

Mitt Romney.
He's was our governor for four years; and despite the overwhelmingly democratic congress, he was able to
make a dent in wasteful spending, corruption, and nepotism.
He's not your average 'sleazy' politician, and there more people know about him, the better chance he has to win.
