That's basically because of the following reasons:
(1) most of the cricket lovers in WI are of Indian origin, who must have been disappointed by India's poor show.
(2) Even the native west indian people are in the similar state of mind, because even WI is not doing well in the Super-8 matches and is likely to be eliminated !

Though interest in the game and attendance have come down drastically due to early exit of India and Pakistan from the tournament and also due to poor performance of West Indies Team, we cannot say that the world cup is a flop as there have been some good matches with nail biting finish.

How could u think like that?....a flop???...when Bangladesh has already made a giant history by crushing the powerful tones of India and yes! South Africa!!!.......its a high time for every bengalis....and though i'm not a bengali and nor am i a fan of it, their winning spirit against the thunders keeps everyone alive....The world cup is not merely for Indians of Pakis.....its for everyone with spirits of cricket.....poor crowd?......why, skysports and other major sports channels are giving live coverage and u should be aware that thousands of crowds are infront of the tv hooting for their team just as i 'm for AUSSIE!.....

Why would you want to have music...its a cricket match. Pitches need upgrading so naturally tickets will be expensive.
Poor crowds, be cos the big guns have been knocked out . All and all I dont think its a flop...as long as Aus is still there..thats all that matters.

Their favorite teams may have been (or almost) knocked out from the tournament.. The final result seemed to be Aussie will get another win (from the look of it) .. Now only the unexpected things (such as Aussies getting beaten by a lesser team etc.) will draw crowds..
