a lot of my friends listen to nickelback and i was just wondering if their good enough for me to either borrow the CD or go out and buy it. i think i've heard them, but i'm not for sure. so i was wondering if their good?

I normally do not like this kind of music at all, however I genuinely like just a handful of their songs, ie:
-Leader of Men
-How You Remind Me
-If Everyone Cared
It could not hurt to borrow your friend's CD, and who knows, you might really like. Don't let the opinions here influence you too much. Give it a try for yourself. :-)

This is sort of an opinion question, so I think that they're a good band. I think the have good guitars and drums and the lead vocalist is a pretty good singer. I also like the lyrics of a lot of their songs.
If you have iTunes or a music service like it, download these songs before buying/borrowing the CD:

there ok but you should ask one of your friends to borrow there cd. because what if you go out and buy the cd and you don't like them .that would be a waste of money.

OMG they're great, The sing about some real issues, and its very rock-ish/ alternative, I usually dont like this kind of music, but I looooove nickelback.

If you're in middle school and/or watch MTV, you'll probably like them. I used to like them. I even had their debut album when I was in 8th grade.
Now I believe them to be one of the worst bands of the past decade. All their songs are a rip off of "How You Remind Me," I can't stand them.

no it pretty much sounds like everything else on rock radio try listening to indie rock it is so much better

Good lord! Please don't listen to them! They are THE worst band I have ever heard! If you don't believe me, listen for yourself! This shows how similar two of their songs are.

No they are basically crappy generic alt rock that has lyrics like cross over country music.
