I loved Laura, but I loved LHOP period. I grew up watching it, when I was old enough, I taped as many episodes as I could. I now have my 14 year old daughter hooked on it and we are buying all of the seasons. I could turn on the last 5 minutes of an episode and be sobbing within two minutes. I guess because the show centered around things that happened in Laura's life - even when Melissa Sue Anderson(Mary) and even Michael Landon left the show, Laura was still an integral part. She was stubborn and yet she had a heart of gold. Wonderful show!!!!!

mine is laura also and like you im VERY headstrong and while she may be just a bit mischief she is also very tenderhearted she gives of herself freely then on the flip side she holds her own and will not compromise her beliefs and lets not forget she is her dads halfpint////i guess what im trying to say is shes me just it a diffrent time if she where playing that role today she would be wearing her bubbas pants and would have burned the dresses&bonnet and by the way my name is laura also

Laura - she was interesting and complex. Mary was so sweet but Laura had a firey spirit.

Nelly for both really. I hated her even as she replaced into youthful and fairly snooty, yet as she grew up, she really turned somewhat wiser. properly, per chance I did dislike Mrs. Olsen somewhat more advantageous. She replaced into entire heifer LOL.
