impossible love...?

does anyone knew of a way i could break my love over someone.

im head over heels in love with someone but it would NEVER work as he is str8 and im secretly gay. i cant get over him. im always thinking about him and hes just such a good person. im obsessed. hes so good looking and kind etc, always makes me smile and laugh.

we are best mates in school but i never see him outside. he keeps inviting me to go clubbing with him and stuff but i always find an excuse. i wait by my phone for occasional texts he sends and send him random texts. i cant stop thinking about him.

anyway going back to my question... i need a way i can get over him because my obbsession is becoming unhealthy. im always thinking of him and have even my msn on appear offline untill he comes on. not a day goes by where i dont fantasise about him. i dont want this anymore. no matter what it would not work and he cant find out how i feel. i dont want to lose him as a friend either. please help

The person who answered this question is a catholic. He is not tolerant or accepting of other ideas especially when it comes to abortion, birth control, homosexuality (he refers to gay men as "sons of satan"), marriage, sex, and people with different opinions. He only comes to Yahoo Answers in a weak-minded attempt at "converting" people. He will not help you.
AS for your question - I suggest keeping him as a friend, but if that is to hard for you - move on.

I suppose you are a gal. why not take this opportunity to find out more about him and overcome your desire for gay? You never know if he may change your life for the better. but few things though, make sure that he is a good guy and of all if you really go any step further, make sure you make at least efforts to go straight. you can do it if you trust your heart. happy easter.
