Have you ever passed on gossip helping spread an ugly rumor, only to find out later it was not true?

I try not to. Most rumors are pretty far from the real truth. People assume things and fill in the unknown blanks with there own creativity. The gossip is usually far from being true.

I can honestly say no at least since I've been an adult. I don't listen to gossip and people who know me, know better than to try and get me involved in hearsay and gossip. If I do hear something about someone I don't know or haven't met yet, I wait until I meet them to make my own opinion based on what I hear and see from that person. I can't stand gossipers and people who can't wait to tell you something bad or scandalous about other people. I just don't trust people like that because you never know what they're saying about you behind your back.

Nope. My motto is any Gossip is bad someone always gets hurt when there is gossip. Most of the time it is a lie. Most of the time gossip is started because of jealousy.
